One of six locations acquired from Incredible Universe in 1996, the San Diego store was reimagined with an "Aircraft Carrier" theme, an homage to the city's strong naval presence and its role as home port to several carriers (including the famed USS Midway). The store's interior was outfitted with tributes to the armed forces, including display tables styled to resemble fuel tankers and equipment from a carrier deck.
